MIKO GIEDROYC

Miko is a founder and trustee of Soul Sanctuary Gospel Choir CIO, and also its full-time manager and Hammond organ player. He is also a trustee of The 1485 Charitable Trust and The Two Walters Trust. He was a trustee of the Henry Smith Charity and a founder of New Philanthropy Capital, serving as its first Head of Research. This followed a long career in investment banking, including serving as Director of Deutsche Bank Securities and SGW Securities, running pan-European equity research in both banks.

Miko studied Maths at Oxford and Economics at NYU and Birkbeck. He publishes occasionally: for example, “Was Lennon really a genius?” (Spectator, 2012), “Crazy equities should be boring as bonds” (FT, 2014), “Giving without Hurting those to Whom you Give”, St Benet’s Hall Oxford 2018, Review of “The Gospel according to Malaco”, London Jazz News 2019.
