Sumitra Saha

Sumitra Saha is a Director at Greenwood Place. She has over 20 years’ experience in the UK charitable sector. Before joining Greenwood Place in 2022, Sumitra spent four years at MariaMarina Foundation, a Liechtenstein based foundation where she led the UK grantmaking and developed the first phase of their social investment programme.

Prior to this, Sumitra worked at The Royal Foundation for The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry where she was Senior Development Manager. During her time at The Royal Foundation, she worked closely with the CEO and the Board focusing on high-level fundraising and events for Their Royal Highnesses’ initiatives supporting young people, veterans, mental health and conservation. 

Sumitra began her career in a role providing frontline support and services to refugees and asylum seekers in Nottingham.
